On terminal aesthetics

There’s a comfort to a monospace grid that I haven’t found anywhere else. Every character takes the same space, every line wraps at the same column, and the eye stops fighting the layout.

That’s the whole reason this site looks the way it does. No hero images, no gradients, no carousel — just text on a dark green-tinted background, the way my editor looks all day.
